I’m not going to take Verstappen attacks – Russell

In a recent interview, British Formula 1 driver George Russell made it clear that he will not tolerate attacks from Red Bull’s Max Verstappen on the race track.

Russell, who drives for Williams Racing, expressed his frustration with Verstappen’s aggressive driving style and stated that he will stand up for himself if the Dutch driver tries to intimidate him.

“I have a lot of respect for Max as a driver, but I won’t let him push me around on the track. I will race him hard and fair, but I won’t back down from a fight,” Russell said.

The young British driver has been impressive in his performances this season, consistently outperforming his Williams teammate and showing great potential for the future.

Verstappen, on the other hand, has been involved in several controversial incidents on track, including a collision with Lewis Hamilton at the British Grand Prix that resulted in a penalty for the Red Bull driver.

Despite the tension between the two drivers, Russell remains focused on his own performance and aims to continue his strong showing in the remaining races of the season.

With both drivers fighting for position in the championship standings, the battles between Verstappen and Russell are sure to be intense and exciting for Formula 1 fans.

Only time will tell if Russell can hold his own against the more experienced Verstappen, but one thing is for certain – he is not going to take any attacks lying down.
